The 15-year-old male bragged that he found the car with the keys inside so he took it, but his excitement quickly dissipated when he saw red and blue lights in his rear view mirror.

The boys talked about torching the car and made up several excuses that they planned to use before they were caught.

According to ABC News, all four of the teenagers will be charged with auto burglary and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.
