- A horrifying situation for a new mother in China had emergency crews in a frantic.

A pregnant woman accidentally flushed her infant down the toilet after gave birth in a public restroom.

According to The Daily Mail, rescue worked ripped up the toilet and piping system before they found the tiny infant, who was just small enough to fit down the pipes.

The baby was found 15-minutes later and was rushed to the hospital.

The infant is said to be in critical-condition.

A team of firefighters responded very quickly and immediately began ripping up the toilet in order to find the newborn.

in 2006, a 19 year-old in Jiang S had a similar experience when her baby was accidentally flushed down the toilet. Her child was found several hours later and made a full recovery.
