Every parent thinks their child is something special, but this pint-sized drummer is surely a beat ahead of the rest. (Daily Mail By REBECCA SEALES)

Amazing footage posted two days ago on YouTube shows the tiny youngster playing a full drum kit, even though the drumsticks are longer than his head and body combined.

In the video, entitled ’1 year old plays the drums like it’s nothing’, the boy plays along to a guitar track while sitting on a little plastic seat.

The jaw-dropping display of ability ends with the cheeky toddler grimacing at the camera as he gives the drums a final bash.

The footage has already charmed thousands of internet commenters, who left messages calling the child ‘amazing’.

While some have questioned whether he is quite as young as one, it seems fair to say the little drummer boy has made a sensational start.
